Carers are admitted free of charge with the person there caring for but MUST produce proof of status on arrival.  If you cannot provide proof of status you will be charged full price.

Our site is generally very wheelchair friendly, however, our trains use vintage carriages and their doors are not wide enough for wheelchairs and there are steps to get on. Please call us to discuss your needs before booking on 01296 655720 or email us on office@bucksrailcentre.org

No, there are not. The train journey should last approx. 25 minutes. There are toilets in the Visitor Centre and on the Old Station platform, which we encourage our younger visitors to use before their train ride!

Our Visitor Centre has a high roof making it difficult to heat in the winter. Please wrap up warm and feel free to bring a blanket!

Our café will be open from 10am and will be selling hot and cold food and drinks, as well as snacks/cake. You are welcome to stay as long as you like either side of your booked session.

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome around the site and on the train.  The only area they are not permitted is in the cafe.

Please note that a booking fee of £3.00 is applied to each order. 

Yes, you may be able to change your booking day or time, if availability allows. You will be charged a £3.00 administration fee. 

Please note that you will only be able to amend your booking if you have created an account at the time of the original booking. 

Any amendments can only be made up to 72 hours prior to original booked arrival date and time.
